The Program: Come prepared for a full schedule of Instruction. The curriculum meets Tennessee EMS standards and national standards for Emergency Medical Responder training while focusing on the special situations that my develop in the wilderness. Participants will be eligible for National Registry and the Tennessee State testing upon completion of the program.
The Instructors: The Wilderness E.M.R. course is led by seasoned instructors from Roane State Community College's Continuing Healthcare & Safety Education Department who have vast experience in Emergency Medicine.
Location: Meals and dorm accomodations at the Great Smoky Mountains Instutute at Tremont are included in the registration fee.
