Skills Sessions for persons enrolled in the Online EMT, AEMT & Paramedic Refreshers.  You will need to attend both days.

Completion of the online portion and attendance at one of the Skills Sessions will meet the hours needed for renewal of your State of TN Licensure.

Who it's for:  L.P.N.'s, C.C.M.A.'s or those who need IV Therapy Certification under Physician direction

What you'll learn:  This course is designed specifically for C.C.M.A.'s and L.P.N.'s who need certification to provide intravenous therapy under the direction of a physician.  It is also fitting for any level of provider who would like to refresh their intravenous therapy skill set. 

This forty (40)  hour course meets the Tennessee Board of Nursing requirements by following the 2016 Standards of Practice for IV Therapy published every five (5) years by the Infusion Nurses Society (INS).  Instruction, including theory and clinical experiences, will be both online and in class on Skills Practice and Assessment days.  This course will not certify students to hang medications, blood products or narcotics, if that is not already in  their scope of practice.

Completion of the online portion and attendance at a two day Skills Session will meet the thirty-two (32) hours needed for renewal of your State of Tennessee Paramedic License.
