    Canva 101 helps professionals understand the uses and benefits of the canva program and how it is a resource for all companies and brands. Participants will learn about branding, what makes a brand, and why obeying your brand guidelines is important. Then everyone will dive into the intricacies of canva, learn the difference between the free and paid versions of the program, and how to utilize the program personally and professionally.

    • Know the difference between free and paid versions of canva
    • Create a flyer, social media post, and landing page
    • Have a basic understanding of brand marketing

    Things to know for class:

    Bring your laptop.  If you have a subscription to Canva, that is great. If not, you will create a free account in class.

    Microsoft Word 2021/365 Level 1 provides the basic concepts and skills to start being productive with Microsoft Word 2021/365: how to create, format, and set up a document, and how to add graphics and tables.

    Students will benefit most from this course if they want to accomplish basic workplace tasks in Word 2021/365, or if they want to have a solid foundation for continuing on to become Word Expert.

    The course assumes that students know how to use a computer, and that they are familiar with Microsoft Windows. It does not assume that they’ve used a different version of Word or another word processing program.
